How do I start an account?
Our account services department is more than happy to start your account in person or our website at hcwd2.org. Please bring in a photo ID, $60 deposit (cash or card) and a copy of your lease if you are renting.
Is a deposit required for a new account?
Yes, there is a $60 deposit required on all new accounts.
Can I access my account online?
Of course! Customers are welcome to access their accounts online 24/7 via Customer Portal.

This is an entry level temporary position lasting 3 to 6 months with responsibilities to include inspecting residential water meters and boxes. No benefits are offered for this position.  No experience required; training will be provided.

This intricate 6-inch diameter water line + water meter + backflow preventer + by pass loop are key components of essential water infrastructure that will deliver several gallons water to over 200 new construction units in the Buffalo Ridge subdivision!

Bbrr…have you seen the upcoming weather forecast? We all know what happens to water when it stays below freezing🥶👎🥶

These photos have some great tips, but we have one more to add:
👉Locate your meter box and make sure the lid is closed properly👈

Meter boxes are often found near the road and in line with an outside spigot.  Ensuring this lid is closed will help protect your meter from the elements and keep it a little more insulated.

🎖Pro Tip from Jason S and Kelly D, two of our seasoned water professionals who have spent many holidays & weekends on call: If your water pipes freeze and you need to turn off your water, youll know exactly where to go!Image attachment
